This unique class is open to anyone who wants to move more freely in their body. Young, old, or somewhere in between, it is vital to your health to keep moving and stretching. In this fun class we use silk swings as a prop to help us lengthen muscles and explore movement in a safe, nurturing, and playful way. After stretching from head to toe like a piece of taffy and bringing fresh blood and oxygen to your muscles and joints, YOU WILL FEEL ENERGIZED!
Heather Graeme understands the importance of movement and stretching for maintaining optimal muscle health. For the last twenty years she has worked on thousands of bodies as a massage therapist and has seen first hand what happens when people stop moving. Muscles tighten and solidify due to inactivity and over time this can affect your posture, breathing, and even your gait. Personally, Heather has found freedom of movement through dancing her whole life, practicing yoga for over two decades, and aerial yoga for the last five years. Professionally, she developed a Passive Stretch class to teach other massage therapists how to safely loosen and lengthen their clients’ tight muscles.
Now, after many requests, she is bringing her passion for stretching to anyone who wishes to feel more at ease in their body. This is not a yoga class. If you wish to explore aerial yoga, you can visit PRiSM Wellness and Yoga for more classes.
