In December I entered the third year of my sixth decade, hence the Heather 6.3, which means I turned 52.  When I say that number out loud it sounds so old, but I don’t feel that old at all.  In fact, I feel better than I have in a long time.  I attribute most of this to a number of recent software upgrades I’ve performed on myself.  You see, I knew there were some old thought patterns and behaviors that were no longer serving me so I decided to focus on these and make some changes.

In the latest upgrade, I embodied this truth:  life becomes simper when you emotionally detach yourself from the outcome of drama that is beyond your control.  As you do this, you inevitably practice the art of letting go.  As you continue to let go of trivialities, you have more time to pursue joyful endeavors.  It becomes easier to release worry and stress when you focus on them one tether at a time.

I believe there is a pearl of primal wisdom in our bodies that guides us to joy if we allow it.  When we get out of our own way, the universal flow of energy can get to the business of creating our wildest dreams.  The path is not straight, nor easy.  Obstacles are guaranteed.  The lessons might be small or they might be colossal.  But your life is yours to live according to your truth.   Listen to your heart.  It will lead you to joy.
