Kenya 2023 Itinerary Summary
Day 1 – Arrive in Nairobi/National Museum of Kenya/Snake Park/Welcome dinner. 1 night at PrideInn Azure Hotel.
Day 2 to 5 – Laikipia Plateau in the Kenyan Highlands/Wildlife viewing/Rhino sanctuary/hiking/archery/birdwatching. 4 nights at Tafari Castle. 2 days of classes.
Day 6 to 8 – Lake Nakuru National Park in the Rift Valley/Lots of wildlife viewing in the height of migration season. 3 nights at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. 2 days of classes.
Day 9 to 11 – Savanna of the Masai Mara/Game drives on the preserve (dawn to dusk) – home to the Big Five game – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant/height of migration/visit a Masai village and school. 3 nights at the Mora Sopa Lodge.
Day 12 – Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley/6,000 ft. freshwater lake known for horticulture, floriculture, birds, grazing wilflife, and dairy farming/hiking Hell’s Gate National Park/Visit Sanctuary farm. 1 night at Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
Day 13 – Back to Nairobi/Rest/Shopping/Farewell Dinner. 1night at PrideInn Azure Hotel.
Day 14 – Dayrooms available until departure time/Visit Giraffe Center and Daphne Sheldrick orphanage/Shopping/Dinner/Airport.
